Picture ONLY Pumps (I DONT REALLY EVER WEAR HEELS)

Picture
So this was a TOTAL splurge! Initially I had purchased some Nina pumps, but when I looked at them and everything started coming together...they were RED. Hey I don't have anything against RED but it really  wasn't the red I wanted.

I started thinking what about a deeper red...hey Burgundy! The search was NOT easy. Red is so common and well one day shopping at Nordstrom this pair of shoes caught my attention...they weren't RED....they were burgundy! I flipped them over and saw the price, I was just shocked :O NO WAY!!! So I kept on going back...and they were there mocking me! GRRRR!!!

Well after searching and searching considering dying shoes...I said the hell with it! I'm buying them! So went on a weekend and went running to the display where they were all the times mocking me! THEY WERE GONE!!!! I could not believe it!

So I went to sales person...the sweetest lady she said "oh I know which ones you are speaking of...they've gone on clearance, I'll help you look!" She found them in my size and they were 33% off. Hey they were still expensive but as I was trying them on, 5 ladies stopped and stared and complimented on them! It was a sign....MUST HAVE!!!!

There was NO WAY I was going to be able to be comfortable in heels the WHOLE day. So I wanted go get flats. One day shopping for engagement pic shoes I found these at Bloomingdales. $90! Regular price $200. I got them in Burgundy, (sorry couldn't find of them in Burgundy online) I loved them, they are simple! No one is going to see them (I hope) :)

My Wedding Glasses

So I decided to wear glasses on wedding day, I tend to wear thick black glasses everyday but I thought it was too hard of a look for wedding day. Since our colors are burgundy and black I thought hmmmm....burgundy frames so I searched and searched and no where to be found :(

I have found my go to guy where I purchase my frames and I expressed to him what I wanted and since he didn't carry burgundy frames :( One day these frames caught my attention they were Tiffany's and where like very light pink/ivory color. The color on me didn't flatter me at all!  So I passed on them...but Wayne (my go to guy) suggested dying them....I was very hesitant! As he explained to me if I agreed and it didn't turn out the way I wanted I still had to purchase the frame...and he also was very up front since it was dye and some print on the frames could end up damaged. But he also said if I wanted to go for it he would do the dying process while I was there because he wanted to get to the color I wanted .

I took the plunge and went for it! It took about 2 hrs and the results I think we shocking for me and Wayne....he completely took all the bling off and dyed everything by parts the sides ended with a nice marble touch and I wanted the front to be darker! I'm sooooo happy with the results and I'm truly happy I went for it!

??????????????????DRESS?????????????????
I finally found my dress! It was something I truly did NOT want to go shopping for because of my weight and I had not reached my goal. EVERYONE insisted this wasn't the dress I could just go find at any store I was going to have to "LOOK" and try on MANY dresses till I found "the one".

I felt stressed at the thought of looking (after David's Bridal experience) I just couldn't get myself up to do it.

Well I finally did and I couldn't believe I had my moment...

DAVID IF YOU DARE SEE THIS I'LL KILL....P.S I LOVE YOU TOO!

HERE IT IS!!!!
It's an Alfred Angelo Sapphire Collection Style 801

I truly had the moment with this, NEVER in a million years did I think I would of picked a lace dress, but here it is and I'm soooo excited I can't wait to go get and try on MY dress.

Trying on the dress!

Picture
So when I went to the Alfred Angelo I sneaked a pic of the dress on me. :P Don't mind the facial expression we were trying to be quick about it.

The dress has arrived...

6/13/10 - I decided to order a smaller size because I'm in the process of loosing weight...so when I went to try on the dress the biggest size they had was a size 14...I was told to suck it in, pull...the dress had a ripping sound and couldn't get to zip up :( Then I was measured and told to order a size 18W....

I'm happy to say when I placed the order I decided...better said determined to loose the weight and order the size 14 and TADA...here I am wearing it! Hey it may not be a a perfect fit yet I still have some more weight to loose...I'm set on 20lbs!

NO ARMS PLEASE!!!

Picture
Because I never show my arms I'm hoping to have a lace bolero to match the dress! Maybe similar to pic...not sure yet =/
