Save the Dates!!!

So when we thought of Save the Dates we wanted something simple and wouldn't break the bank. So we decided we would create the design ourselves and well going through other knotties bios, I came across knottie okamimami and I thought postcards was such a GREAT IDEA! NO ENVELOPE! The postage would be less I mean it was PERFECT!!!!! So I showed FI and well he created a very similar version to knottie okamimami, had it printed through vistaprint. We got a GREAT deal...we decided on oversized postcards and they had an offer for 50 postcards for free. So we paid for uploading our own images front & back $5 each and shipping $10. So $20! Not bad I must say!

*** Talk about being lucky, so we NEVER win anything! So the same day we ordered our Save the Dates through Vistaprint, we wont a contest our DOC was having! She was offering designing invites, table #'s, seating charts, save the dates...etc and we won the design for the Save the dates talk about LUCK! So we decided to add a magnet and can't wait to see what Christina Molina creates! Will post as soon as I receive design!***

::Our Pretty Little Invites::

So we decided to have our DOC (Christina Molina) create our invites. She knew were going for a very dark themed wedding and she thought the invitation should be the same, but yet have a nice elegant touch. When it came to expressing design and color I found Ashlee Simpson's wedding invite to be exactly what we wanted! But of course uniquely for us, so Christina put her thinking cap on and at the beginning I guess I didn't want to give "all the creativity to her" but at the end I gave in and told her do what you want you are the expert, and TADA... look what she created.....

I think she did an amazing job, when she gave us this proof we were just blown by the way she grasped our thoughts and she knew exactly what we wanted. We couldn't be happier with what she has done so far, can't wait to see what she does with the inserts. She will also be making them in Spanish for us. Once I get pics of the inserts will post.

Christina Molina did an AWESOME JOB!!! We love how she created everything. The inserts turned out fabulous! I can't wait to have them in my fat little hands :D
